Retirees Club

Dedicated to all the retired members of Ironworkers Local 444.

For nearly 75 years the members of Local 444 have performed their trade with pride and brotherhood .   In that period of time many young members have learned
what makes this union great.  Generations of ironworkers passing on the tradition.  A tradition of hard work and unity building America's factories, bridges, and
buildings.  Throughout that time they have shared their knowledge and experience so young members could learn a proud trade in union ironworking.  We will always
be grateful to those seasoned veterans. For your service in the ironworking industry.
The  newly formed retiree's club meets on the 3rd
Wednesday of every month at the union hall.
Periodically the club members will meet at local
restaurants for the monthly meeting.  These dates and
locations will be posted in the "Labor Record"  or on
this site.

As the weather warms, we hope to see more of our
friends at the hall.  We would like to have some input
on possible outings or events to plan for the retiree's
meetings this year.  Any members wishing to share
some ideas can call Eldon at 815-725-0725.

Welcome to all the former 465 and 386 retirees.  We
hope to meet up and share some memories with all of
our members.  If anyone has some old pictures they
would like to see on the website, they can drop them
off to Eldon.  We will copy them and return them to
you .
