| NEWS WINDOW NOTICE IRONWORKERS LOCAL 444 APPRENTICESHIP The Ironworkers Local 444 will be accepting applications for possible openings in the apprenticeship, at 2082 Oak Leaf St. , Joliet, Illinois from 8:00 AM until 12:00 noon weekdays on July 5 through July 18. Please have your jigh school diploma; valid drivers license; birth certificate; and proof of residence in Local 444 jurisdiction at time of application. Applicants will be required to have reliable transportation and pay a $25.00 test fee at time of testing. Females and minorities are encouraged to apply. EEO |


Ironworkers Local union 444 is a member of the International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental, and Reinforcing Iron Workers. Iron workers erect structural steel buildings, bridges, raise pre-cast units for buildings and bridges, install ornamental components, and work in all forms of concrete reinforcement. Along with the core units listed above of our trade, our workers are trained to meet the safety and technological advances for tomorrows construction needs. We maintain a training center with up-to-date information on new products, new techniques, and safety improvements. An AWS certified welding facility with 15 weld booths are available to members for weld certification and training. We have AWS certified welding inspectors available for members certification and upgrade. |
